What You Will Learn
Dr. Eleanor Stein’s clinical approach to chronic, complex disease based on her 25 years in the field
What types of questions are important to consider to identify the levers you can use to improve your health
How self-management works and why it is the most powerful intervention we have available - new discoveries not withstanding
Some of the most helpful self-management strategies for ME, CFS, FM, ES and Long COVID
As a medical specialist in psychiatry, Dr. Stein has dedicated her practice to ME/CFS, FM and ES since 2000 (and more recently Long COVID). She got into this field after she herself developed ME/CFS, FM and MCS in 1989. Her health symptoms limited her ability to work and function every day for over 28 years.
After decades of trying everything imaginable, in 2017, many of the symptoms, including disabling fatigue, lifted. She says "I think I finally 'got it right' for my body. My life now is very full with work, connection and travel. It bears little resemblance to the careful, limited life I led for decades."
Dr. Stein is now dedicated to sharing what she has learned via live webinars and online courses. Many of her patients and students of her courses are seeing significant improvements and are living better lives.
So it's not just her - the tools work. And they may help you. By teaching you what she has learned, she hopes your pathways to pain-free living will be faster than hers.
Prior to developing ME/CFS and Fibromyalgia, Simon had been doing a job he enjoyed, working with men with mental health problems and histories of homelessness.
After taking on a managerial role, in 1997, he developed ME/CFS and fibromyalgia and was unable to work for the next 9 years.
Initially, he spent a lot of the time barely living, feeling extremely fatigued and at times was unable to walk for one minute. Doctors didn't have any answers.
In May 2005, he learned mind/body techniques, learning how to use brain training and other techniques to activate the body’s healing state, and started his path to recovery. He got back to working full time and playing sport.
Today he is a trained Hypnotherapist and Coach, created the Building Resilience course and teaches people the techniques that helped him.
16 years on, his mission is to help people overcome health challenges, by helping them tap into their innate wisdom and healing potential, seeing people make progress and get back to full health.
